Lily Collins' new look is très chic.
The Emily in Paris star ditched her signature chest-length tresses that she's rocked on the hit Netflix series for at least three seasons and ushered in a summer-ready bob haircut.
Lily debuted her dramatic transformation at the world premiere of her new horror movie, MAXXXINE. While attending the June 24 event at Los Angeles' TCL Chinese Theatre, the 35-year-old put her short 'do on display by styling it with a deep side part and curling just the tips to create a voluminous wave.
And to make sure she was the mane focus on the red carpet, Lily wowed in a Schiaparelli getup that consisted of an oversized baby blue blazer and matching skirt with a thigh-high slit.
She skipped the blouse, wearing a gold-chain harness underneath that featured the brand's surrealist eye emblem. Gold leaf-shaped earrings and metallic sandal heels tied her look together.
As for what sparked the actress' drastic bob? She was ready to switch up her trademark look.
"Changing my hair always brings out different sides of my personality and I love playing around," Lily told Vogue in an interview published June 24. "This cut and color feels bolder and yet somehow lighter. And completely more me—right now."
Lily's hair colorist Jacob Schwartz described her transformation as "dark suede brunette" on Instagram, while her hair stylist Gregory Russell explained the vision behind the major cut.
"I hadn't seen Lily for a while and when she sat down in the chair she said, 'What's our next look?'" Gregory told Vogue. "We had the long hair for some time and we did layers, bangs, face-framing…we did a lot. We thought this would be a chic switch-up."
