Shakespeare once wrote, "Parting is such sweet sorrow," and Crystal Kung Minkoff knows the feeling.
Kung Minkoff, one of the stars of Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," revealed her departure from the reality series in a video posted to Instagram Monday.
"I just wanted to share the news that I will not be coming back to film Season 14 of 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.' It's very bittersweet," Kung Minkoff said. "Never did I think I would have been asked to do the show in a million years, let alone film it for three seasons. Every single year I was asked back, it was a blessing. It was an honor."

Kung Minkoff joined the "Real Housewives" franchise on Season 11 of "RHOBH" in 2021, becoming the first full-time Asian American cast member on the "Beverly Hills" spinoff. The television personality reflected that the distinction was "a lot of weight on my shoulders."
"I have since just have really understood the magnitude of what that meant for people," Kung Minkoff said. "And I just wanted to thank you guys for being such an incredible support for me, and I hope that I have been for you, sharing my story with my ED (eating disorder), sharing stories about my father and his Alzheimer's. I've heard so many incredible stories from you guys."

While Kung Minkoff did not disclose the reason for her exit, she reassured fans she won't be going MIA.
"This is not goodbye. This is, 'See you soon,'" Kung Minkoff said. "I have some other things going on that I will be sharing with you soon that I'll still be able to connect with you because at the end of the day, that has been my biggest gift of filming this show is connecting with so many of you with your beautiful stories."

Crystal Kung Minkoff says husband is 'obsessed' with infamous leather pants from 'RHOBH'
Kung Minkoff is married to film director Rob Minkoff. The couple shares two children, son Max and daughter Zoe.
In a February interview with USA TODAY’s The Essentials, the reality-TV star revealed Rob – who has appeared on several episodes of “RHOBH” himself – loves his wife’s "ugly leather pants," the infamous pair of trousers co-star Sutton Stracke screamed at Kung Minkoff about.
"My husband won't let me wear them because he is so protective of them," Kung Minkoff said at the time. "He's like, 'Don't ruin them.' So, he randomly checks in like, 'Do you have the pants?' They're folded. He thinks they should be at the Smithsonian or something. He's so obsessed."
