Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards remember everything about Zach Bryan.
Two weeks after the "Something in the Orange" singer announced his split from Brianna LaPaglia, her BFFs podcast cohosts shared a scathing diss track "Smallest Man" that seemingly refers to the singer's past.
"I said trust me, caught your pants on fire," Josh began in the Nov. 6 song, which was initially taken down for copyright infringement by Warner Music Group before being re-released the same day. "Tinder, Bumble, Raya, knew you was a liar / You're a douchebag, you just made a new rival / Pretty soon you going to need a revival."
He went on to tell Zach he "f--ked up" and to "go post it on your Instagram Story," a nod to the singer sharing the breakup on social media before allegedly telling Brianna he was planning to do so.
Josh and Dave weren't afraid to throw some punches in the tune, with the former appearing to take jabs at the "I Remember Everything" singer's love life, including his marriage to Rose Madden, which ended in 2021 after nearly one year.
"You say you remember everything, I guess not because you forgot about your wedding ring," he continued, seemingly referencing the 29-year-old's subsequent two-year romance with Deb Peifer after his divorce. "I ain't coming subliminal, you're great at being country without a second syllable."
The duo also didn't forget Zach's September 2023 run-in with the law, even using audio from his arrest for obstruction of a law enforcement officer, although he was never charged. "Looking for pink skies, but now you're seeing stars," Josh, 22, added. "There's something in the orange and it's you behind these bars, b---h."
Dave then jumped in after making jokes about the Grammy winner's looks. He rapped, "Itty bitty Zach, s--tty s-tty tats / Ugly in the face, there's no cure for that."
Brianna has been open about the difficult transition in her life following their breakup.
"I just woke up to Zach posting on his Instagram that we broke up," she said in her YouTube video last month. "How can you give every ounce of yourself to someone and then be discarded in a few days? I wanted to heal privately and I didn't even know that he was gonna post that."
But despite the heartbreak, the 25-year-old is focusing on the future.
"I'm gonna be okay," she emphasized. "I'm gonna be fine. I'm just obviously really, really hurt right now. And I wanted to just, like, be hurt for a week and lay in bed, and I just didn't want it to be public."
